This work was completed late on Sunday 30th May 2017. Given that it was painted during the week of Anzac Day the subject is local war veteran Narelle Hart. Narelle is 96 years old and has lived in the local area for 70 years. She still lives locally. Narelle served in the Royal Airforce from 1943 till 1946.
